What cleans grout best?

 In San Diego Grout Cleaning

With so many recommendations for getting your grout clean, you are probably wondering what really cleans grout best.

At The Grout Medic of San Diego Metro, we know that the secret to clean grout is not in homemade concoctions, or special scrubbing and scouring utensils.  Getting your grout clean is not just about what is on the surface.  While we love seeing our grout lines beaming bright after a cleaning, it is also important to tend to what lies beneath the glow of seemingly-clean grout lines.  Harsh chemicals and homemade solutions might make your grout appear clean, but…

Steam is the answer to your San Diego grout cleaning needs.

Steam cleans grout best, but not just any steam.  Low-pressure steam is a must when cleaning grout.  High-pressure cleaning machines are never recommended.  The Grout Medic of San Diego Metro uses only low-pressure, hot water vapor cleaning to rid your grout of surface dirt, stains, and even contaminants deep within the pores of your grout.  Our professional steam grout cleaning process is safe for your grout and tile, but deadly for germs and bacteria that live below the surface of your grout lines.  What if there are stains on your grout lines cannot be eliminated with our professional cleaning service?

How do I get my grout white again?

Do not use bleach, or mixtures of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to get your grout white again.  If the stain can be gotten out, The Grout Medic of San Diego Metro can clean it.  However, we know that some stains have staying power that cannot be broken, even by our steam cleaning process.  If you still have grout stains after your professional steam cleaning, we offer alternate solutions for getting your grout lines bright white once more!

Grout color staining

The first solution is grout color sealing.  For this procedure, we will use a matching color stain, meticulously applied to clean grout lines to bring them back to their original luster.  Grout color stain is not paint, but a special sealer, which penetrates deep within the pores of your grout to improve or change the color and protect your grout from future stains.

Regrouting

The second solution is regrouting.  Our regrouting process includes the complete removal of all your stained and/or damaged grout and replacing it all-new for a total rejuvenation.  Regrouting is the perfect solution for obtaining bright-white grout lines for aged tile surfaces, for which the grout has passed its usable life and color brilliance.
